To be a writer, you have to be a read a lot. If you read a lot, you might find yourself becoming a writer.

The first thing I do when I go to someone’s house for the first time, is scan the walls for bookshelves. You can scan my bookshelves here, but please don’t pick your nose. Can you tell what someone is like, from the books they keep in their house? Hmm. Not all the books from the pile are currently residing in my house. One or two have gone on permanent walkabout but I still see their ghosts from time to time.  All the books from the pile I’ve read, and sometimes more than twice or thrice.
